In these vineyards we grow Plavac Mali and Rukatac. Plavac mali is quolity red vine and Rukatac is quolity white wine.
PLAVAC MALI There is a story that Plavac Mali loves the suffering and therefore performs best in Peljesac peninsula. Plavac Mali means Small Blue, which is named after small size of the grapes and rich and deep color of the grapes, reminding us on Croatian sea. Plavac Mali vines are rich, high in alcohol and grape tannins with flavor and aromas of blackberries, dark cherries and Croatian herbs(thyme, lavender and sage). Our vines are matured in oak barrels, which adds complexity and richness of the wine. Plavac Mali is great accompanier to Cratian dry ham - Prsut, good cheeses and meet dishes.
RUKATAC The wine has light yellow- greenish color with the notes of fresh lemon and Mediterranean scents. It has nice dry bouquet with refreshing flavor. Best is served chilled and served wish our Dalmatian specialties of anchovies, risottos, seafood and goat cheese.
OLIVE OIL Olives are harvested by hand from centennial olive groves. The oil is produced by cold pressing, which gives it a fresh and fruity aroma enriched with aromas of green vegetation. The fullness of its mild and rich flavour intertwines with beautifully dosed poignancy. Production is limited and focused primarily on quality. On the World Olive Tasting in New York, Peljesac olive oil has won gold medal two years in the row. |
